Meet Our Staff

Harvey Shulman, Audit Manager

Harvey concentrates his efforts on financial statements and bookkeeping through his tax and audit work for the firm. He has been with the firm for thirty years and has worked closely on not-for-profit accounts and has expertise in political account filings. Harvey is a graduate of DePaul University with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society.

Alex Kim, CPA, CFE & Audit Manager

Alex manages audits, while also lending assistance on the tax side. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Accounting. Alex is a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the American Institute of CPA"s, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Patrick Karpowicz, Tax Manager

For nearly thirty years, Patrick has been offering proactive, strategic tax planning and technical advice to his clients, which include high net worth individuals and the owners of closely-held businesses in a multitude of industries. He specializes in state and local taxation, and taxation of flow through entities, S corporations, partnerships and Llc's. Patrick has extensive experience with Federal & State Tax Compliance as well as reviewing partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation tax returns. He has supervised and trained staff accountants, prepared business and personal tax returns and financial statements, and developed relationships with clients through advising them with respect to partnership, corporate, and other tax issues. Patrick has been a frequent speaker at conferences and nearby universities and an active member of various professional organizations. He has experience in sales and building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Bridget Skoczylas

A graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Accounting, she serves as a staff accountant for the firm, devoting her time to tax and audit services. She first came to the firm as an intern.

Michael Barnes, CPA

A graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a M.B.A. in Accounting, he serves as a staff accountant for the firm, devoting his time to tax and audit services. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of CPA"s.

Jane Andrianova

A graduate of University of Illinois of Chicago with a B.S. in Accounting, she serves as a staff accountant for the firm and devotes her time to tax and audit services.

Yakov Leykin, CPA

A graduate of University of Illinois with a M.S.A. in Accounting, he serves as a staff accountant for the firm, devoting his time to tax and audit services.

Ching Wei Tseng

A graduate of University of Illinois with a M.B.A. in Accounting, he serves as a staff accountant for the firm, devoting his time to tax and audit services.
